Lions Park Lift Station Project
As part of our continuing infrastructure improvements projects, the DeKalb Sanitary District is replacing the Lion’s Park wastewater lift station. River City Construction was awarded the contract after competitive bidding. Work began in October 2007 and is expected to be completed late summer 2008.
2008 Interceptor Inspection & Cleaning Project
This project includes sanitary sewer televising and cleaning of approximately 71,000 lineal feet of interceptor sewer (15 to 36 inch diameter pipe). National Power Rodding was awarded the contract. Work will begin in May and be carried out this spring and summer.

2008-2009 Board Meeting Schedule
The Board meets at 303 Hollister Avenue at noon on the third Wednesday of each month. The public is invited.
2008 User Rate Increase
The user rate has increased from $1.60 to $2.00 per 748 gallons of metered water usage. For an average family, the increase is $12.00 per quarter, and is payable on bills received in April, 2008 and thereafter.

Install a meter to measure water that is used on lawns, gardens and in pools, and get a refund of part of your sewer bill.
